Hello Parents,

Are you looking for a professional, native English teacher to help your child improve their English in a fun and engaging way?

I'm an experienced English tutor from the USA with nearly 20 years of teaching English as a second or foreign language. Based in Dietikon (8953), I’ve supported children across the Zurich and Aargau cantons in developing their skills in conversation, reading, writing, spelling, phonics, and more.

Starting in August 2025, I have availability on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to take on new students.

What makes my approach unique is the blend of professional teaching and hands-on childcare experience. I create immersive learning opportunities through outings, games, songs, baking, reading, nature walks, scavenger hunts, and other local excursions. I’ve also worked as an outdoor educator in the US and love taking children on fun, educational outings—whether in nature, museums, libraries, animal parks, etc. I speak and understand German/Swiss German at an intermediate level.

I have my own car and can pick up and drop off your child as needed. I'm also happy to take them on local educational excursions to support their learning in real-world settings.

In addition to tutoring, I can help with light errands, prepare healthy meals, and provide reliable care. I hold a clean Swiss driver’s license and can provide excellent local references.
