Hello! My name is Kristi-Lynn and I am looking for work as a nanny here in Switzerland. I am registered nurse in Canada and prior to that I studied/worked in the early childhood discipline. Some examples of the jobs I acquired throughout the years are: a summer camp counsellor, an early childhood educator in a day care setting, a living in nanny for a family with 5 children and a assortment of babysitting jobs with different families. I have strong work values and really enjoy children. I like to provide children opportunities to grow and learn by incorporating activities for them to do - for example: art projects, science learning, school activities (math, spelling, reading). In addition, I believe in the benefits of children being active by participating in activities such as going for hikes, riding bikes/scooters, swimming etc... I believe that it’s important for children to be busy, and by doing so they are learning and growing in different aspects of their lives. Although at times, I do think that some down time is necessary too- watching tv, playing on tablets etc... I will do some light house work- laundry, dishes - that sort of thing.

I speak English and little bit of Spanish, I need to learn German while I am here in Switzerland.
