How much do I earn per hour?
Basically, you determine your own hourly wage. However, you should take some aspects into account, such as your age, your qualifications, experience, and the hourly wage of other childminders in your region.
Babysitters, nannies, and childminders on Babysitting24 earn an average of CHF 25.– per hour gross.
What training or education do I need to work as a babysitter, nanny or childminder?
For babysitters, no training is required. However, we recommend that you take at least a babysitting course. Nannies and mannies qualify with a course for child carers. Childminders must complete a special childminding programme and continuously undergo further training.
