I am a dual American and Canadian citizen who moved to Switzerland five years ago to live with my Swiss husband in Aargau. I have previously worked as a nanny in Switzerland and an Au Pair in Germany, in Switzerland with a 9 month old baby and in Germany with 13 year old twins. Most recently I worked as a researcher at a healthcare consultancy firm and as a leader in an international sport clothing in Zürich. I am a native English speaker who can also speak High German and I understand (and am currently working on speaking) Swiss German. I love to sing and dance, spend time outside in nature, and I especially enjoy and excel at teaching. I have lifeguard training, a current first-aid certificate, and training in teaching swimming lessons for children. I will be beginning an online MBA in Healthcare Leadership in January 2021, and am looking for a weekday position in the German speaking area of Switzerland with the possibility for occasional weekend work. I believe that open and honest communication are pivotal to a positive working environment, and I especially find this refreshing honesty in children.
