Dear Parents

I am a professional and qualified native English Speaking Early Years Educator. I have over 10 years of experience in dealing with children from ages 3 months-12 years. Having worked with many families helping improve their childrens abilities and confidence in English.

For the younger learners, learning through play is the most effective method in becoming confident in a new language. This is done through excursions, reading books, baking, fun activities and understanding the child's needs and interests.

I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, I have a certificate in Montessori Teacher Training and a TELF (Teaching English As A Foreign Language).

I have a genuine passion for teaching and working with children, and I feel extremely lucky to have had the opportunity to teach within Switzerland, Australia and South Africa. Teaching within different countries and applying a different curriculum has been an invaluable experience which further developed my ever-growing skills as an effective, efficient and enthusiastic teacher. Throughout my years of experience, I have constantly adapted learning experiences to suit the needs of all children in order to stimulate, support and challenge them. My contrasting learning environments within Australia have completely transformed my skills in being able to care for and educate children of a young age whilst implementing a suitable and challenging learning framework for them based upon interests and individual learning goals. I know that I am a confident and competent teacher of all pre-primary ages and have transferable skills which enable me to be an effective and successful teacher across all age groups.
