Hallo!!! I had to take care of a lot of cousins when I was younger, and I worked one year as a babysitter in Portugal for one family with two kids ( 7 and 9 years old ). Here in Switzerland, in the last year, I'm doing sometimes babysitting for a family with two kids with 5 and 8 years old.

I really find easy to play with the children and establish a close relation of confidence, trust and respect with them (for me it's important they can see me as a friend who they also need to respect and follow my indications) . Almost always I'm able to spend quality time with them by talking, playing or help them with homework or tasks they have to do. I think I have good energy and I can keep calm with different or hard situations).

It's important for me to have conversation with the parents to understand also what they expect from the babysitting and understand what it's expected from me to do with the children in some special situations that can appear.
